FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
When should post-construction cleaning be scheduled?
Ideally, floor cleaning should be one of the last trades on site, after all other construction activities are complete. This prevents re-contamination. We coordinate closely with project managers to schedule our work at the optimal point in the construction programme.
Can you remove cement residue from marble without damaging it?
Yes. Marble is acid-sensitive, so we do not use acid-based descalers on it. Instead, we use alkaline cleaners and mechanical techniques (plastic scrapers, steam) to remove cement deposits without etching the marble surface. If minor damage has occurred, we follow with diamond polishing.
How long does the cleaning process take?
This depends on the floor area, the type and extent of contamination, and the floor material. As a rough guide, a hotel lobby of 500 m² typically requires 2–3 days. Larger projects may take a week or more. We provide a detailed timeline after the initial site survey.
Do you also handle wall and vertical surface cleaning?
Our primary expertise is floor surfaces, but we can clean stone wall cladding, stone countertops and other horizontal or vertical stone surfaces affected by construction residue as part of the same project.
